How does the design process work?
Each new website usually starts with the client emailing me links to other websites they like so I have an idea of the style they want. Alternatively, I am happy to produce a layout I feel suits your requirements based on any feedback you provide me with.
Once the initial installation and set up stage is completed, I will begin to add your content based on what you have emailed me.
Usually, before the website is completed, I will email you a link so you can preview how the website will look. This will give you the opportunity to suggest any changes. Once you are happy with the finished design, I will either make the site live or keep it saved until you are ready to do so.
Do we need to meet to discuss my requirements?
I appreciate many of my clients have busy lives. There is no need for us to meet and discuss your requirements as information, questions and ideas can easily be shared by email helping to keep the whole process simple and cost effective.

You’ll need a domain name and website hosting for your website to go live. There is no requirement to have this arranged before or during the design stage, as all websites are built on temporary web space.
Your new website can be uploaded to any suitable hosting.
For most standard websites, I can also provide affordable, hassle free hosting. If you prefer, you can purchase your own hosting elsewhere. Website hosting usually includes a free domain name, and equates to around £5-£10 per month depending on the type and size of website. This really does depend on the size and style of the website. Small sites can take anywhere between 1-3 weeks to build, while larger more complex sites can take longer.
I want to proceed. What should I do next?
Let me know as soon as possible. I only take on a limited number of projects at a time, so the sooner I know, the sooner I can make a start. There is no need to send me any content to begin with, as the initial stage involves installing and setting up the website software. Once I have made a start on this, I will email you with more details on how to prepare and email me the content you want on each page of your website and support you with any other questions during the design stage.
