Pink Plates would like to make you aware of the following points.
Please read them carefully. When placing your order, you are
confirming you have read and agree to the following conditions:
All orders
placed via this website are produced, and shipped direct to our
customers, by one of our carefully selected and experienced
number plate makers based in the Channel Islands.
Whenever emailing us about an order you have placed, please ensure
you include your registration number, post code and date of order.
If possible, forward your original payment confirmation email.
This allows us to locate your order and respond to your email much
faster.
About Us:
Pink Plates was created by Dan Ashton, who has worked in
the automotive retail industry since 1991. Dan has founded and
designed many websites, and in more recent years has been
increasingly aware of the popularity of pink car accessories. He
launched the Pink Plates website to offer girl drivers the
opportunity to choose a different style of number plate for their
car, if they so wished.
Your Payment:
All payments made via this website are done so over a
secure connection, provided by PayPal. You can pay using your
credit card, debit card or PayPal / Ebay money. All payments are
made direct to DAN ASHTON who is a verified PayPal member -
offering you maximum security and peace of mind. Please note that
payments will appear on your bank statement as 'DANASHTONWEBSITES'
(or abreviated). YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR YOUR
ORDER.
Your Order:
All plates are made to order, and personalised with
your appropriate information. Therefore, as set out by the Distant
Selling Regulations and the Office Of Fair Trading, we are unable
to accept any returns. If on the rare chance your order arrives
faulty, or damaged; you should let us know within 7 working days.
In most cases, replacements will be sent as a priority with no
need to return the originals. We may on some occasions ask for
photographic evidence.
Making A Complaint or Contacting Us In Writing:
The best way to contact is by email at dan@ashton45.freeserve.co.uk .
We are duty bound by law to offer a postal address too, which can
be found on our Contact Page.
The Law:
Although no definate legal duty to do so, we would like
to make it quite clear that these products, as with any 'number
plates' sold online are classed as SHOW PLATES. In short, this
means in the eyes of the law, they are for 'off road' or 'show
use' only. As you will no doubt have seen, millions of motorists
still choose to personalise their number plates in some way or
another, buy purchasing Show Plate off the internet. The most
important thing we can stress, is that you make sure you specify
the correct registration number and space it appropriately when
ordering. If not sure, you should check on your vehicle
registration document. We only offer plates featuring a UK LEGAL
STYLE OF FONT and all plates ordered via Pink Plates are made by
an experienced supplier using the best quality, BS approved parts.
You may be fined for fitting show plates to your car, and your
vehicle may fail its MOT.
