Indian
Head Massage
|
A
calming & relaxing therapy, ideal for those wishing
to have a massage without removing their clothes. Also
great for those in a rush as treatments start at just 15
minutes !
Indian
head massage is based on the ayurvedic system of healing
which has been practiced in India for over a thousand
years. It provides Indian families with relaxation and
healing on a daily basis, as well as playing a part in
rituals such as weddings and births.
Modern
methods here today were perfected by Mr. Narendra Mehta
who came to the UK from Indian and was disappointed not
to be able to have an Indian Head Massage here. He
returned to India to learn the therapy and then returned
to the UK to teach practitioners here, thereby spreading
the practice. |

With
the client seated in a chair (any low backed chair is
suitable) the massage concentrates on the upper back
& shoulders, the arms & hands, and the head,
neck & face.
Indian
head massage helps increase joint mobility and
flexibility in the neck and shoulders, improves blood
circulation and lymphatic flow, frees knots of muscular
tension, relaxes connective tissue, and aids in the
elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products. It
is particularly good for reducing the effects of stress
and tension.
It
is also beneficial for improving concentration,
relieving eye strain, fatigue,
insomnia, headaches, migraine and sinusitis as well as
many other mental & physical ailments.

Clients
report that the experience is deeply calming and relaxing,
leaving them feeling energised and revitalised.
This
is a fully clothed, non-invasive therapy which can
be completed with or without oils & can be adapted
specifically to the client’s exact needs.
An
excellent therapy for corporate customers as the massage can be
tailored to shorter treatments of just 10 minutes & yet
still providing all the benefits of a longer therapy.
